Privacy Policy

Who we are
This website and the January Reset challenge are run by Lily Anderson, trading as fitbylily, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “me”). I am responsible for your personal data. Email: fitbylilyy@gmail.com.
What information we collect
- Details you give when you join: your name, email address, phone number and the answers in your onboarding questionnaire (for example your goals, food likes and dislikes, allergies and training experience).
- Health information you choose to share: for example allergies, injuries, medical conditions, pregnancy or postpartum status.
- Progress information: check-in photos, measurements, weight and notes you share in the app or group chat.
- Payment information: we do not see or store your full card details. We receive confirmation of your purchase, your name and your email.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, Instagram DM or in the app.
You don’t have to share health information. It helps me tailor your plan safely, but it is your choice, and you can still take part without it.
How we use it
- To give you your place on the challenge, set your calorie and macro targets, build your meal and training plans and coach you.
- To send you information about your challenge, such as your invite link, start date and updates.
- To answer your questions and give you support.
- To keep records for accounting and tax purposes.
- With your separate permission only: to share your results, photos or reviews on our website or social media. We will always ask first, and you can say no.
Our lawful reasons (UK GDPR)
- Contract: we need your details to provide the challenge you have bought.
- Explicit consent: for any health information you choose to share, and for using your photos or story publicly. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: keeping financial records.
- Legitimate interests: running and improving our coaching and keeping the website secure.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with the services we use to run the challenge, and they may only use it to provide their service to us:
- BeeFit: checkout and order processing.
- Stripe: card payments.
- The fitbylily coaching app (iOS App Store and Google Play): your plans, coaching, check-ins and the group chat. Other challenge members can see anything you post in the group chat.
- Google / Gmail: email.
- Vercel: website hosting and security logs (such as IP address and browser type).
- Google Fonts: loads the fonts on this website, which means your IP address is sent to Google.
- Instagram / Meta: if you message us on Instagram.
International transfers: some of these providers store or process data outside the UK (for example in the United States). Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US Data Bridge.
Cookies
This website doesn’t set any cookies or use tracking, analytics or advertising tools.
How long we keep it
- Health information and progress photos: deleted 12 months after your challenge ends, unless you ask us to keep them (for example because you are joining another challenge).
- Purchase records: kept for 6 years, as required for tax purposes.
- Other details and messages: kept while you are a client and for up to 2 years after your last challenge, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, ask for a copy to take elsewhere, and withdraw any consent you have given. Email fitbylilyy@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.
Your right to object
You have the right to object at any time to us using your data on the basis of our legitimate interests. If you object, we will stop unless we have a strong legitimate reason to continue that outweighs your interests. You can also tell us to stop sending you any marketing at any time, and we will always stop.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
